Newsletter - October 2009
Our furlough time is almost over as we will be heading back to Thailand on Nov 4. We were only able to visit a few churches but we want to thank all the pastors, congregations and individuals who have supported us with your prayers and giving. We have one more chance to see you at the Heartland District Conference in Clinton, Iowa, if we have not been able to see or talk to you yet. We will be involved with the missions workshop, so we hope you will stop by and see us there from Oct 26-28.
Here is some of what has been happening lately. Through a series of unfortunate events, Neill’s mother broke two of her ribs, developed bronchitis (near pneumonia), was hospitalized for three days and is currently in a nursing home to complete her recovery. She has agreed to go directly to a wonderful retirement facility that is in the area and so we are working on the final details for that to happen, including moving her things in this coming week, before she is released from the nursing home. We would appreciate you prayers for a smooth transition for Neill’s mom and that she would be content in her new surroundings and for healing and strength for her.
Thank you again for your prayers and partnering with us.
Neill & Diana
